Tragically and irrevocably damaged by a vague childhood trauma involving total exsanguination by a fugitive group of satanic gypsies, Spider was left with a bizarre connection to the alien underworld and only vague recollections of an upbringing among artists and machinists in a home adjacent to a junkyard and machine-shop. After leaving the backwoods to make a name for himself in the civilized world, Spider developed a thorough knowledge of a number of artistic and mechanical disciplines: sculpting, painting, materials fabrication, carpentry, mechanical engineering, character design, illustration, music, and special effects. Spider was drawn to the world of underground music and culture. Driven by a powerful desire to leave his mark on the world, either by artistic and commercial success or overt super-villainy, Spider developed an affinity for industrial music, expressionist art, and designer toys Over the years, he became involved in numerous projects, including stage shows, television shows, film, illustration for popular websites and literary works, art shows (submitting works in a broad range of mediums, from digital prints to sculpture), and even musical projects, working with bands and musicians all over Florida. Today, he continues to pursue these interests as a member of Florida's newest design team, Agi Agi. He's currently heading up the new plush division, and continuing with his painting series, while gearing up to produce his own line of blank vinyls.
